The Retro Entertainment series from Hot Wheels in 2014

Retro Entertainment from Hot Wheels was a hit in 2013, and it is the most successful (and the most expensive) among the 1:64 scale series from Mattel. The recipe is very simple: diecast replicas from TV series and movies cars. And it will be back in 2014.

You can see a list of the firsts cases from 2014 series, and the movies on other cases. We will show more shortly, and you can click here to see what we already showed.

What we'll see on 2014 Retro Entertainment series

The pictures you see below are not new. They were showed on the Los Angeles collectors convention weeks ago, and now Mattel show us better images of these "e-sheets". We can expect some new cars from James Bond movies, like the Aston Martin DB5, and some cars from Fast & Furious movies. All the cars have metal base and body and rubber tires (except the Jetsons Car!). Click here to see more pictures from the Retro Entertainment series.

2014 Retro Entertainment news

We have some pictures of two castings that will be on 2014 Retro Entertainment series, and they might appear on the second batch of next year's collection. The pictures are from Mattel's designer Steve Vandervate. Click here to see more pictures and info on that series.

• '77 Dodge Van (Old School), GMC Motorhome (Stripes) (Retro Entertainment batch "B"):

Some new cars for the 2014 Hot Wheels lines

We have some pictures of some cars from 2014 Hot Wheels lines: the Dodge Challenger SRT8 from 2014 Retro Entertainment series (from the movie Fast And Furious) and the Nissan GT-R (R34) and Honda S2000, both back to the 2014 mainline. And this beautiful Hurst '70 Chevelle SS Wagon (picture from our friend Peter Dizbon, that found it on a 9 pack).

The VW Beetle "Herbie" from Retro Entertainment series and more news!

T-Hunted shows you some EXCLUSIVE (and badly Photoshoped!) pictures of some cars from the 2014 Hot Wheels adult collections that will be on shops shortly: the VW Beetle "Herbie" from Retro Entertainment, and the '75 Kenworth W900 and '71 Plymouth Satellite from Pop Culture series!

All of them has metal body and base, and real riders wheels. The Herbie is the same one from the 2014 basic line, with and added sunroof and rubber wheels. This is the second appearance for the Kenworth and the Plymouth: they appeared on 2013 Retro Entertainment collection.

2014 Retro Entertainment from Hot Wheels!

Mattel released Retro Entertainment series in 2013, with cars from TV shows and blockbuster movies, and it was a huge hit among collectors and pop culture fans. And in face of that, Mattel decided to continue this collection in 2014. All these cars are licensed, with metal body/base and Real Riders wheels (with rubber tires).

You can see below some of the firsts cars from the firsts batches of the 2014 collection. Can you name all the movies from the cars below? The picture is from Mattel designer Steve Vandervate.

BOMBA!!! All the official news from Hot Wheels Convention!

Last saturday Mattel showed a presentation on the 27th Hot Wheels Collectors Convention in Garden Grove, CA, with lots of news about 2014 basic line and adult series. You can check all the cars they showed there in the pictures below.
